Privacy Policy

This policy covers the website at andylei.app and the personal automation tools operated by Andy Lei (雷明灿) that connect to third-party APIs, including Google APIs. These tools are built and run by one person for that person's own work. They are not a commercial service and have no other users.

What this site collects

Nothing. andylei.app is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. There are no accounts, no forms, no analytics, no advertising, and no cookies set by this site. GitHub records standard server logs, including IP addresses, as described in the GitHub Privacy Statement. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the request in order to serve the font file.

What the tools access

The tools authenticate as the owner's own accounts and act on that owner's own data — for example reading and posting to a YouTube channel the owner controls, or reading and writing documents in the owner's own Google Workspace. They do not access anyone else's account, and no third party signs in to them.

How that data is handled

Data retrieved through an API is used only to perform the task the owner requested at that moment.
Access tokens are stored locally on the owner's own computer, in the operating system user's configuration directory, readable only by that user.
Nothing is stored on a server operated by these tools. There is no backend, no database, and no hosted copy of the data.
Nothing is sold, rented, or shared with third parties, and nothing is used to train machine learning models.

Google user data

Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Access can be revoked at any time from Google Account permissions; revoking it makes the stored token invalid immediately.

Retention and deletion

Stored credentials live only on the owner's machine and are deleted whenever the owner removes them. Because no data is retained on any server, there is no retained copy to request the deletion of.

Children

These tools are not directed to children and are not intended for use by anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new date at the top.
